Remembering Dr. Lee Vincent

by Allegro Pediatrics

Dr. Lee Vincent, one of the original founders of our practice 50 years ago, passed away Sunday evening. From the very beginning, Dr. Vincent set the tone of our practice as a place of caring and quality, and for so many years, he worked hard to turn those aspirations into a reality. He will be greatly missed, by our family at Allegro Pediatrics, and by the greater community of children and families he dedicated his life to serving. Dr. Vincent’s family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Youth Eastside Services, another organization which benefited from his longstanding dedication and support.

❤️ one of the sweetest people I have ever met. And makes a mean cookie too. I remember when we were transitioning to a new scheduling system and scheduling center. As most big changes it took time and compromise to find the best process. He would take time out of his day to bring us cookies and compliment us. You will be missed.

I will miss you Lee. Your heart and soul went into each and every child you treated. You were a gift to a new mommy who was worried about everything. We had great talks about scuba diving and my writing. You always called and checked in on my kids when they were sick or in the hospital. Asking the children if you could find bunny rabbits in their ears and how you kept our Christmas card on the inside of our family chart. You leave a hole in our world. xoxoxoxo

My son Parker saw Dr Vincent when he was about a year old. We talked about his joy of diving while admiring some of the photos he took in deep waters around the room...he was a very nice kind man! Thank you for everything! May you rest in peace...

The nicest, sweetest, caring giving person that i have ever met. Nothing was a challenge for him. Everything was a "piece of cake". I will miss you at the company picnic wearing your PA hat.

My son was a patient of Dr. Vincent throughout his childhood. As a single mom, he always made me feel at ease, and reassured me I was doing a good job as a mom. Not to mention that my son loved him! I'm so glad he was a part of our lives.

My Mom told me about Dr. Vincent's passing when she saw this article today. As soon as I saw this article, and his smiley face in that picture, I recalled the clean smell of the Pediatric Associates office, the hundreds if not thousands of files in the bookshelves in the 80/90's (yellow I think they were?) and the warm/safe feeling I always felt there. It was over 20 years ago that I last saw his smiley face in person. Funny story about Dr. Vincent. His birthday was the same day as mine. Growing up, I made an assumption that he was my pediatrician for that very reason - that there was some sort of matching system done when you are born. I can't remember when or who corrected that idea for me. But I always remember feeling so special about that fact that we shared a birthday!

Dr. Vincent was an amazing person and will be very missed.
