Recall of Infant Liquid Ibuprofen Sold at Walmart and CVS

Several brands of infant liquid ibuprofen are being recalled as they may contain higher, and potentially dangerous, concentrations of the drug. The FDA has recently added three additional batches of ibuprofen drops to the recall list.

Please check your medicine cabinet if you’ve purchased infant liquid ibuprofen from Walmart, CVS, or Family Dollar. Brand names include Equate, CVS Health, and Family Wellness.

  • Walmart sells the recalled product under the "Equate" label. The products being recalled have the lot numbers: 00717005A (02/19 expiration), 00717009A (02/19 expiration), 00717015A (04/19 expiration), and 00717024A (08/19 expiration).
  • CVS sells the recalled product under the "CVS Health" label. The products being recalled have the lot numbers: 4718 (12/19 expiration), 00717006A (02/19 expiration), and 00717024A (08/19 expiration).
  • Family Dollar sells the recalled product under the "Family Wellness" label. The product being recalled has the lot number: 00717024A (08/19 expiration).
