I enjoy the challenge of approaching each child based on their developmental level, as this can be very different from early childhood to adolescence.
Teresa joined our practice in 2021. She attended the Eastern Washington University for her undergraduate education and completed a Master of Science degree in Child Health Nursing at the University of South Florida.
Teresa enjoys working in pediatrics and believes that focusing on prevention and wellness can have a larger impact on a child’s life when addressed early. She appreciates the challenging aspect that treating patients at different developmental levels can bring, and enjoys the playful, and sometimes goofy, nature that comes from working with children.
Teresa has a special interest in Behavioral Health. She has extensive training in behavioral health related concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, genetic conditions, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Teresa is a life-long learner and believes it is important to stay up to date on the rapidly changing field of pediatric behavioral health.
Teresa has lived and worked all over the United States. She recently moved to Washington from Texas. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.
