A Guide to Booking Your Child’s Appointment Online
Our online scheduling system allows established patient families to visit our website at any time and schedule an appointment for your child when it’s convenient for you. Scheduling the correct appointment type for your child will help their care team prepare for the visit and make for a better experience at the appointment. Below are the various appointment options and information on when each appointment type should be scheduled.
Sick or Injured
Evaluation of an urgent illness or injury available on both weekdays and weekends. Schedule this appointment type for concerns such as fever, cough, earache, sore throat, cold/flu/COVID symptoms, eye infection, vomiting, diarrhea, minor cut, or sprain. These appointments are made per available time slot and not with a specific provider.
Well Care Check-up
Well Care Check-ups are the best way to monitor your child’s health and build a strong connection with your pediatrician. These visits typically include a physical exam, as well as growth monitoring, developmental screening, immunizations, and expert guidance. Well Care Check-ups are also a great time to complete School, Sports & Camp Physicals. View the recommended schedule on our website. These visits should be scheduled with your child’s Primary Care Provider (PCP).
Newborn
Appointments for all newborn concerns for babies 1 month and younger. Schedule this appointment for any urgent newborn concerns, as well as the routine Well Care Check-ups at 1-2 weeks old and 1 month old. During their routine well care visits, our providers will check their weight, feeding, and answer your questions. These visits are available 365 days a year and should be scheduled with your child’s PCP, as able.
Behavioral Health
Evaluation of a new behavioral health concern or follow-up for a behavioral health concern previously diagnosed by an Allegro provider. If the concern is not new but has not been previously evaluated by an Allegro provider, please book the appointment as a new behavioral health concern. Examples of behavioral health concerns include challenging behavior in toddlers and children, academic concerns, attention and concentration concerns, and mood disorders such anxiety and depression. These visits should be scheduled with your child’s PCP.
New Medical Concern
An evaluation of a new medical concern with your child’s PCP. Schedule this appointment type for concerns such as chronic headache, chronic abdominal pain, ongoing constipation, developmental concerns, and eczema. These visits should be scheduled with your child’s PCP.
Follow-up
Follow-up for an existing medical concern previously diagnosed by an Allegro provider. Schedule this appointment type for concerns such as asthma follow-up, weight check, injury follow-up, eczema check, constipation follow-up, and developmental follow-up. These visits should be scheduled with your child’s PCP.
