Allegro Pediatrics is proud to support KidVantage’s High 5 Diaper Drive from April 20 through May 22! This updated drive replaces the former Diaper Derby. We’re excited to continue partnering to provide essential supplies for children in our community experiencing poverty or crisis, and we’d love your support.
How can I help?
- In Clinic: Drop off your diaper donation in the collection bin at any of our 9 clinic locations through May 22. Opened packages of diapers and single diapers are accepted! Children's clothing and underwear are not accepted.
- Online: Make a monetary donation through the KidVantage website. Because KidVantage purchases diapers in bulk, financial gifts help stretch each dollar—providing more diapers, in the sizes most needed, right away. Be sure to enter “Allegro Pediatrics” in the comment box so your gift is counted toward our team effort.
- Amazon Wish List: You can also order diapers online through our Amazon Wish List and have them delivered directly to Allegro.
Why diapers?
- 1 in 2 families experience diaper need in America.
- 4.9 million infants and toddlers live in low-income or very low-income families.
- Infants require up to 12 diapers a day, at a cost of $80 - $100 per month, per baby.
- Government safety-net programs, including SNAP (food stamps) and WIC, don’t recognize diapers as a basic need and do not provide funding for diapers.
