Background
Dr. Aarthi Subramani joined Allegro Pediatrics in 2026. She earned her medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in India, completed her pediatric residency at St. John Hospital, and received a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Subramani values connection and finds it deeply rewarding to care for children, families, and communities through her work as a physician. Her approach to care is patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based. She enjoys partnering with families, building trust, and creating strong relationships that support high-quality care.
Before joining Allegro, Dr. Subramani practiced as a pediatric hospitalist for 16 years. She has extensive experience caring for hospitalized children, medically complex pediatric patients, and families navigating challenging health situations. She is especially interested in healthcare quality and safety, with a focus on improving systems and bringing safe, thoughtful, patient-centered care to every visit.
Outside of work, Dr. Subramani enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks and hikes, and paddleboarding. She and her husband have a busy daughter, and their family also includes a fun-loving labradoodle who keeps everyone on their toes.
