It is a privilege to connect with families, especially when they are navigating a challenge. I value their trust when they partner with me to care for their children.
Background
Cortney Nachreiner, DNP, ARNP, CPNP-PC, joined Allegro Pediatrics in 2026. She attended Northwest University for her undergraduate education and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Cortney worked as a school nurse, where her experiences caring for children inspired her to pursue a career in pediatrics.
Cortney takes a warm, supportive approach to patient care and values listening to families’ concerns while providing evidence-based education and guidance. She enjoys helping parents feel confident in caring for their children and, as kids grow, helping them better understand their bodies and take an active role in their own health. Cortney has a particular interest in ADHD and teen mental health. Her background as a school nurse also shaped her interest in supporting children with chronic health conditions.
Outside of work, Cortney enjoys reading, cooking, watching high school soccer and cross country, and spending time near the water. She is married with three children and also has a golden retriever and a feisty rabbit.
