Learning my patients' stories and connecting with them and their families is one of the greatest privileges that I get as a pediatrician!

Dr. Elizabeth Altomare joined our practice in 2023. She attended Truman State University for her undergraduate degree. She then attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Altomare joined the United States Air Force and completed her residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

Dr. Altomare has a special interest in disease prevention. During her training, she had the opportunity to complete an internship in Internal Medicine. This experience led to a special appreciation and passion for preventing many diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Dr. Altomare returned to pediatrics and discovered her calling. Her passion is engaging with both pediatric patients and their caregivers in a way that everyone can understand. She believes that a healthy future begins by working together to build a healthy present.

Dr. Altomare has lived in many different areas of the US, from small rural towns to large metropolitan cities. Her lived experience has allowed her to appreciate working with people from many diverse backgrounds. Dr. Altomare believes that every patient’s personal history is an integral part of they are, as it contributes to a patient’s preferences, daily choices, and health.

Dr. Altomare lives in Redmond with her husband and daughter. Together, they enjoy hiking, bike rides, traveling, and cooking. Dr. Altomare also loves to work with her hands and be creative on projects including sewing and furniture refinishing.
