I value building long-term relationships with families and being a trusted resource as their children grow.

Background

Dr. Grace Shuting Liu joined our practice in 2026. She attended the University of Alabama for her undergraduate education before earning her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Liu completed her pediatric residency at the University of Colorado and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Dr. Liu was drawn to pediatrics by her love of caring for children and building lasting relationships with families. Her approach is collaborative and evidence-based, with an emphasis on listening to each family’s questions, values, and priorities and working together to create a care plan that meets their child’s needs.

Dr. Liu has a special interest in newborn care, breastfeeding, and lactation and is currently pursuing certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She enjoys supporting families as they navigate infant feeding and helping them find an approach that works well for both parent and baby.

Outside of work, Dr. Liu enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys crocheting, especially amigurumi stuffed animals. Dr. Liu grew up in a Chinese American household in Northern Virginia and is happy to now be closer to her extended family, including her 10 nieces and nephews who live in the Pacific Northwest.

Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
