I believe parents know their children best, and I value working together as a team to support each child’s health and well-being.

Background

Dr. Homa Shaarbaf joined our practice in 2025. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington State University and earned her medical degree from the University of Washington. She completed an internship at the University of Chicago, followed by a pediatric residency at Loma Linda University.

Growing up in a variety of communities and cultures, Dr. Shaarbaf developed a deep appreciation for how a child’s environment can shape their health. These early experiences inspired her to pursue a career in pediatrics, with a passion for supporting children and families from the very beginning. She combines evidence-based medicine with a whole-person approach, considering both medical and social factors in care.

Partnership is central to Dr. Shaarbaf’s philosophy. She values parent insight, encourages open communication, and strives to create a welcoming space where patients feel safe and supported. She has a special interest in both newborn care and adolescent medicine—guiding families in building healthy habits early on and helping teens navigate growing independence.

Dr. Shaarbaf and her husband met in medical school at the University of Washington and are excited to be back in the Seattle area after spending four years in California. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time outdoors. A travel enthusiast who has visited 13 countries, she values cultural connection and time with family.

Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
