I love caring for children and seeing the difference primary and preventative care can have on patient health and wellness outcomes.

Background

Lauren Frishholz joined our practice in 2021. She attended Gonzaga University for her undergraduate education and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Washington.

Lauren always knew that she wanted to pursue a profession that involved caring for children. It was after she worked as a camp counselor for children with chronic medical conditions that she decided on a career in pediatric medicine. Lauren was inspired seeing each child’s resiliency, as well as the exceptional medical care that enhanced their quality of life. She also worked as an inpatient nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where her enthusiasm for pediatric medicine continued to evolve and strengthen.

While in graduate school, Lauren completed the UW Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) program. The program aided in her ability to evaluate, diagnose, and create care plans for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, she gained experience working with children experiencing behavioral health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD.

Lauren was raised in Seattle and loves the Pacific Northwest. She currently lives in Seattle with her two busy dogs. Outside of work, Lauren loves to travel, read, and stay active outdoors. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and running.

Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
