Children are resilient, honest, and funny, and it is an honor to be a part of their development.

Background

Dr. Owen Bennion joined our practice in 2025. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University and earned both his medical degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center.

Dr. Bennion’s decision to pursue medicine was shaped by his experience as a full-time missionary in Japan, where he spent two years building trust and helping people achieve their goals. He saw parallels in medicine, where physicians partner with patients to improve their health and well-being. Pediatrics inspired him because it allows him to support children, parents, and families over the long term.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Bennion believes his role extends beyond keeping children healthy. He strives to build their trust in healthcare, encourage resilience, and give them the tools to take charge of their own health. His goal is for patients to graduate from his practice with a strong foundation of confidence and well-being to carry into adulthood.

Dr. Bennion grew up in Seattle and now lives in Bellevue with his wife and son. He and his family are excited to return home after years in California and on the East Coast. Outside of work, he enjoys baseball, music, singing, and hiking.

Occasionally, providers may not be accepting new patients. Please check with the receptionist when scheduling an appointment.
