When I did my pediatric rotations the kids simply tugged at my heart and I knew what I needed to do.

Background

Dr. Steve Schiebel joined Allegro Pediatrics in June 2000. Dr. Schiebel attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, but wasn’t initially sure what his focus should be in medicine. He really enjoyed working with children during his pediatric rotations, and decided to become a pediatrician. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Schiebel was also instrumental in the implementation, design, and now management of the Allegro Pediatrics electronic health record system.

Dr. Schiebel is married, with two young girls. Two cats and a very active dog complete the family. He enjoys attending Seattle Mariners games with his family, skiing, hiking, reading, and being his family’s I.T. guru.
