“You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so…get on your way!” - Dr. Seuss

After 42 years with this amazing organization, it is bittersweet for me to announce that I will be retiring in early November, 2019. It has been my privilege to serve as the president of Allegro Pediatrics for the past 32 years, CEO for 19 years, and as a practicing doctor from 1977 to 2009. As I “get on my way,” I will be turning over the reins of Allegro to our new CEO, Brett Vandenberg.

Brett started his career in healthcare serving in various positions in our clinics over 20 years ago. After a brief break, he returned to Allegro and has spent the last 13 years here, first as our Director of IT, then CIO, and most recently CFO for the last 10 years.

Our leadership, providers, and staff remain committed to our mission of excellence in pediatric care and feel fortunate to be part of such an incredible, growing community on the Eastside. As I head off to “great places” in this next chapter of my life, I see a very bright future for Allegro Pediatrics and the children we serve.

Sincerely,

Glenn Lux, MD, MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Allegro Pediatrics, formerly Pediatric Associates, Inc., P.S.
