I had a lot of interaction with the health care system as a sick child and I saw the value of these very dedicated personnel. This made me aspire to do the same when I grew up.
Dr. Toks Akande joined our practice in the fall of 2017. He attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Nigeria for medical school. He later completed his residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Akande also received his master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has special interests in asthma care, obesity prevention and management, and medical informatics.
Dr. Akande has recently spent time exploring the United States, and loves his new home in Seattle. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, restaurant hopping, and traveling.
