Childhood and adolescence is an important time to establish and promote psychiatric health. I am happy to be able to work with children, adolescents, parents, and providers to foster individual health and strengthen families.
Dr. Kristin Bernhart is a board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who joined our practice in 2016. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia for medical school. Dr. Bernhart then completed both her residency in psychiatry, and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bernhart consults with our primary care providers, in addition to offering psychiatric medication management, diagnostic evaluation and treatment recommendations, and psychotherapy-informed treatment to current patients who are referred by Allegro providers and will be receiving their ongoing general pediatric care from Allegro Pediatrics.
